The three-part mini-series, set in the criminological environment of the capital city of Prague, is about a seemingly incongruous pair of policemen who, by chance, become part of a police team investigating murders. Their diametrically opposed attitudes to life, methods of investigation and personalities are at first completely different. Gradually, their differences lead them to uncover the motive and the perpetrator of the unsolved murders, as well as a surprising connection to the current case being solved by their experienced colleagues. The series is full of suspense, clever but understandable thinking on the part of the main characters and good humour. The case the detectives deal with in the miniseries is fictional, but the authors Josef Mareš and Jan Malinda drew on the rich experience and practice of Josef Mareš, who successfully headed the Prague homicide department for many years. The central character of the project is Associate Professor Stehlík, played by Ivan Trojan, who specialises in psychological profiling of criminals, which will be a key clue to catching the killer.
